Arrest and Legal Trouble
On 17 August 2025 Ducky Bhai was arrested at Lahore Airport of Pakistan while attempting to travel abroad. Authorities accused him of promoting gambling applications and engaging in financial misconduct.
The case was registered under Pakistan’s electronic crimes laws and sections of the criminal code related to fraud and cheating.
Initially bail was denied but after judicial proceedings the Lahore High Court granted bail of PKR 1 million allowing him temporary freedom.

Allegations of Abuse in Custody
Ducky Bhai claims that during his custody he faced physical and verbal abuse from officials at the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
He alleged being slapped and verbally assaulted and pressured during interrogation, despite fully cooperating and handing over all his device and account details to the investigator.
He described his 100 day experience as extremely stressful, with sleep deprivation, mental strain and fear for his future.

Public and Official Response
The NCCIA denied the allegation of abuse and confirmed that all procedures were conducted according to law.
