Bahawalpur city has officially launched the new electric bus routes marking major step toward eco friendly and affordable public transport and Most of these buses are specially introduce to facilitate students of Lodhran and Bahawalpur along with daily commuters and this initiative aims to reduce pollution, cut travel costs and improve the overall transport system in the city.
Green Bus Bahawalpur Project Phase 1
The Punjab government has introduced Green Bus Service and routes in Bhawalpur which is the modern electric buses to promote sustainable transportation in Bahawalpur and these buses are environment-friendly, fuel-efficient and designed to provide a comfortable travel experience.

Distance: 12.2 km
- Route 4: Alina Hospital to Goth Lashkar
Distance is : 10.6 km
- Route 5: Bahawalpur Bus Stop to Yazman
Distance: 35.5 km
- Route 6: Bahawalpur Bus Stop to Lal Sohanra
Distance: 32.5 km
- Route 7: Bahawalpur Bus Stop to Ahmadpur
