IHC Grants 10 Day Protective Bail to YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Nani Wala
The Islamabad High Court IHC grants10 day protective bail to YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Nani Wala in multiple cases related to gambling applications, cybercrime and other allegations. The protective bail was approved on Wednesday by Justice Raja Inam Ameen Minhas after both influencers surrendered before the court following their return to Pakistan from the United Kingdom.
Rajab Butt Returned from UK to Face Legal Proceedings
The court’s order came just a day after the IHC granted a one day protective bail on a request filed by the influencers’ families. The purpose was to ensure that neither Butt nor Nadeem would be arrested upon their arrival at Islamabad International Airport.
The legal counsel informed the court that the two had been living abroad for several months and feared immediate arrest due to several cases registered against them by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and other institutions. The judge directed both influencers to appear before the court on Wednesday which they did leading to the extension of their bail for 10 more days.
Multiple FIRs and Serious Charges
According to official records Rajab Butt and Nadeem are facing multiple FIRs under Pakistan’s cybercrime laws. The allegations include:
- Promotion of online gambling applications
- Misuse of social media platforms
- Online harassment and digital violations
- Misrepresentation and public deception
In September Butt and Nadeem were booked by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) for allegedly promoting illegal gambling apps to followers through social media platforms.

Fake Registration Plate Controversy
Nadeem was also arrested earlier for displaying a fake registration number plate ‘IK-804’ on his vehicle. Authorities revealed that the number was linked to the prisoner registration allotment associated with PTI founder Imran Khan. The TikToker reportedly failed to provide a valid explanation for using the number.
Blasphemy Case Over “295” Perfume
Rajab Butt has previously been involved in religious controversy as well. In March this year he was booked under blasphemy and cybercrime laws following the launch of his perfume brand named “295” referencing Pakistan’s blasphemy law. Authorities claimed that the branding caused religious unrest.
Past Legal Troubles of Rajab Butt
Rajab Butt also faced legal action last year after he was arrested for illegally keeping a lion cub and weapon at his residence. He admitted to accepting the cub as a wedding gift and pleaded guilty to owning an undocumented wild animal. Instead of jail time the court ordered him to post animal rights awareness videos for one year.
No Deportation from UK: Lawyer Clarifies
Amid rumors of deportation Rajab Butt lawyer Mian Ali Ashfaq clarified that his client was not deported from the UK. He stated that Rajab Butt returned voluntarily and was not sent back by British authorities.
The 10 day protective bail allows the influencers time to approach relevant courts for formal bail in pending cases. Investigation remains ongoing and the FIA is expected to move forward with legal proceedings in upcoming hearings.
