وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب Maryam Nawaz نے خطے میں جاری جنگی صورتحال کے باعث ممکنہ معاشی اور پیٹرولیم بحران سے نمٹنے کے لیے ہنگامی اقدامات کا اعلان کر دیا ہے۔ ان اقدامات کا مقصد پیٹرول کی بچت اور حکومتی اخراجات کو کم کرنا ہے۔

پنجاب حکومت کے اعلامیے کے مطابق مختلف سرکاری محکموں، عوامی سرگرمیوں اور تعلیمی اداروں سے متعلق اہم فیصلے کیے گئے ہیں۔

Educational Institutions Closed Until 31 March 2026

One of the most significant announcements is the closure of all educational institutions across Pakistan Punjab from 10 March to 31 March 2026 . However the academic activities will not completely stop. It will be held online or work from home and Schools, colleges and universities have been instructed to continue online classes during this period so that students’ studies are not disrupted.

The Punjab government has also introduced several steps to reduce fuel usage and government expenses.

• Fuel supply for government vehicles has been stopped.
• 50% reduction in fuel allowance for government officers.
• Protocol vehicles have been banned.

• Petroleum monitoring committees will be established in every district.
