Impact on Consumers
LPG is widely use across Pakistan particularly in:
- Households without piped gas connections
- Commercial kitchens and restaurants
- Transport sectors using LPG powered vehicles
Although the reduction of Rs2.52 per cylinder is modest it reflects stability in international LPG markets and slight currency improvement.
Market analysts note that even minor exchange rate movement can affect LPG price because Pakistan relies partially on imported supply to meet domestic demand.
